Define normal? What do you mean? Webster’s Dictionary says: Conforming with or constituting a norm or standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal.
Well, what is the “norm or standard or level or type or social norm”? Something like, wash your hands before supper or the father of a family goes to work and the mother stays home?
But in some cultures, isn’t this abnormal? So is there really a set and define normal? Or, maybe, could it possibly be a person line that everyone draws between normal and abnormal?
Define normal? How can I? There is no such thing; one person’s normal is another’s unusual. To one girl, normal might be getting up every morning, doing their hair, putting on make-up and fitting themselves into tight $100 jeans and a “prep” shirt. But to another, normal might be sleeping in, not doing much with their hair and throwing on the first thing they see in the morning. If you switch these girls, then both would be completely out of their norm.
From person experience, my best friend and I have very different ideas of what normal is. To her, its wearing high heals and skirts at times, when I would not even dare to step foot in those things. And from another experience, my mother thinks wearing colorful outfits and completely modest-meaning two sizes too big-clothes. For me, I wear jeans and a black tee shirt most of the time.
Sure, there are some things that MOST people consider “normal”. Children between the ages of 5 and 18 go to school and then go on to college or a trade school and they make money to support themselves, sure this is a norm in many societies around the world. Walking around clothed and taking care of yourself is also a norm.
But, the thing about normal is, it changes. What was normal twenty years ago is defiantly not normal now. Big hair, parachute pants, and shoulder pads that made you look like a football play were cool and standard in the 80’s, but now, if a woman walked in a room like that she would get stares and snickers.
Define normal. How can you? It is changing and uncertain. Though society has its own lines for normal, hey are always changing to accommodate something. People draw their own lines or normal. When they are faced with something out of the ordinary, they fear it a lot of the time. People need to be more open with the word normal.

Let us merely say that I know what SHOULD happen, and I know what COULD happen. I can therefore say with cerntainty what MIGHT happen. But never can I tell you what WILL happen.
